ABOUT ME.
Hi, I'm Jason Talbot, an Art Director who believes great design starts with a great idea. Originally from New York and now calling Detroit home, I'm passionate about the creative process and find genuine joy in simply "making stuff."
My experience covers just about everything in the advertising world - from digital and social campaigns to print design, web development, logos, brand guidelines, presentations, and storyboards. What drives me isn't just creating visually appealing work, but developing concepts that truly connect and resonate.
When I'm not immersed in creative projects, you'll find me spending quality time with my family or indulging in my lifelong love of sports. But honestly, whether I'm on the clock or not, creating is what makes me tick - it's been my true passion from day one.
HOW IT ALL STARTED…
This was the first commercial I ever produced. As an intern at BBDO New York, I had the chance to pitch some TV ideas for M&Ms. The coolest part? Growing up, I was a huge fan of the M&Ms characters and always dreamed of creating a commercial for this iconic candy brand. It was surreal to achieve that dream with my very first gig. Thankfully, I've got plenty of other goals and aspirations to chase after this one!
Let’s Talk Knicks PODCAST
Back in 2008, I met a fellow Art Director at The Creative Circus. He was from New York, a Knicks fan, and that was all it took for us to know we'd be friends for years to come. As ad guys, we were always brainstorming ideas beyond advertising, usually around things we both enjoyed. We even wrote a pilot for a TV sitcom, but the idea that really stuck was the Let’s Talk Knicks Podcast. Over the years, we've grown our following, and with the team's recent resurgence, we're ramping up our social media presence and content production for the upcoming season. What started as a fun hobby might just turn us into the next Mike Breen and Clyde Frazier. Hey, you never know!
